The Back in the Swing Cookbook- Recipes for Eating and Living Well Every Day After Breast Cancer

The Back in the Swing Cookbook
Recipes for Eating and Living Well
Every Day After Breast Cancer
by Barbara Unell and Judith Fertig

Hardcover, 288 pages

Swing Back from Breast Cancer.

The Back in the Swing Cookbook was lovingly created by the wonderful people at BackintheSwing.org, a non-profit organization that supports and encourages people to live life to the fullest after breast cancer.

The book not only provides 150 fresh and uncomplicated dishes to nourish body and spirit but also serves as an uplifting guide to encourage, provide tools for, and cheer on people who are back in the swing after breast cancer.

"There's so much to know about food and what fortifies our bodies. And what is a contributor to well-being. And this cookbook is a wonderful resource book to help all of us in the kitchen to eat great, to have wonderful meals, and to combine science with common sense."
~Sheryl Crow

The authors are Barbara Unell, founder of The Back in the Swing nonprofit organization and author of a dozen books on living healthy, and Judith Fertig, well-known cookbook author and contributor to top food and lifestyle magazines.
From Judith:
It's not every cookbook that debuts with an intimate concert given by Sheryl Crow.
But the Back in the Swing Cookbook is not a typical cookbook, either.  This "survivorship center between two covers" can be life-changing for people who want support, guidance, and motivation along with great food and drink after breast cancer.
It has been my privilege to work on this project with Barbara C. Unell, founder of The Back in the Swing nonprofit organization.

This is more than a cookbook, it is a lifestyle guide and a beacon of light to help people get back in the swing after breast cancer. Makes a great gift.
